I've not uploaded much in a while.

Whether or not I upload more... depends on how bored I get at work.

So it seems, of late, my profile here on dA has been... low. Low? Non-existant seems a better description.
That's the trouble with spending so much time being creative in the real world. Perhaps dreaming should be more of a hobby than a career. But then, how else can I pusrue a career I love?

After all, daydreaming has always been one of the things I do best.


(Though I do also cook a mean barbecue.)

There's something about an unmarked blank canvas... Pristine and white. Unmarked. Clear.
What to make of it...?

So this whole thumbnail images not loading thing is only temporary. I guess deviantART has similar server issues to Livejournal...

I've now uploaded a reasonable amount of backlog art. I need to look into scanning and messing with some of my newer pictures, now. I have many good ones.

To anyone reading this who doesn't actually know me, my recent crazy in photography is to stretch what light can do to it's limits, and discover some new things along the way. I've spent much time playing with glowsticks and fire over the past year, and I'm planning on branching out to all manner of unusual light sources and situations.
It interests me how photography can work as a medium in a way other than that which most people use it...

My latest crazy with photomanipulation is to use these crazy images to good effect, sculpting them into something completely different each time. I also need to work on my vector graphic skills.

My latest non-photonic craze is stencil art and stencil graffiti. Airbrushes and aerosols are fun.

They say a seed can lie dormant for years, perhaps decades, until given the right conditions to sprout. Once it does, however, given enough attention it can grow into a mighty tree.

Well, after creating this account two years ago, I rediscovered it and decided it was time to give it some water, so to speak.
Who knows. Perhaps it'll grow into an apple tree.
I certainly hope it's a fruitful escapade...
